Which subject line should you use?
Every message is filed against a slip or against one of the desk's own pages, so a subject line naming the slip number does most of the sorting by itself. Where no slip number applies, the plain subject shown below is enough.

What happens to a correction?
It gets checked against sources before anything on the site moves, and it is re-run at the counter rather than accepted on a single reading. A change that survives that goes onto the slip, and the checked date on the slip moves with it.
Two things this desk does not do.
